The POUNDS Project provides monitored injection and distributes essential harm reduction supplies commonly known as “gear” to individuals who smoke or inject substances.
These supplies include:
- Needles
- Glass pipes
- Tinfoil
- Screens
- Safer equipment for snorting
We also offer Narcan, a life-saving medication, and training on how to use it; as well as referrals to local service providers.
Our goal is to provide a safe, stigma-free environment where individuals can use substances. And our experienced staff are there to respond in case of an overdose emergency.
