The POUNDS Project is a safe haven from judgment, stigma, and criminalization, where individuals can access peer supports along with life-saving supervised consumption and harm reduction services. We offer donated clothing (depending on availability), snacks, coffee, water, a public washroom, and day storage for personal belongings.
Our drop-in services include:
- Wound care
- Harm reduction gear, Take Home Naloxone kits, and Naloxone training
- Access to WiFi, computers, and phones
- Storage and administration of medication and OAT (Opioid Agonist Treatment)
- Referrals to community resources, such as accessing laundry services or directions to other services
- Clinician and/or peer support for social, health, or legal needs, including appointments
- FTIR drug checking
- Naloxone Training
